British Heart Foundation is a charity fighting heart and circulatory disease. The BHF funds research, education and life-saving equipment and helps heart patients.
Heart disease touches us all. There are 2.6 million people living with debilitating heart and circulatory disease in the UK and heart disease is responsible for more deaths than any other single cause. BHF works hard to create awareness of the issues which matter. From lifesaving awareness campaigns through to public policy lobbying of parliamentarians, decision makers and opinion-formers.
The BHF has well over 11,00 volunteers working in their shops and invest nearly £100 a minute in research into the life-changing disease. Their vision is that within a generation, they will create a world where people do not die prematurely of heart disease. They will achieve this through their pioneering research, vital prevention activity and by ensuring quality care and support for people living with heart disease.
“We need you to share our vision because, together, we really can beat heart disease.”
