Welcome!

My name is Luke Drummond, and I’m 14 years old. This summer I’m cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats to raise money for British Heart Foundation.

Recently, my Grandad died of a heart attack. Everybody knows someone – whether a close friend or family member, or a distant relative – who’s been affected by heart disease. It’s one of the biggest killers in the UK, and British Heart Foundation works to help fund research about the disease as well as educate school children and provide support to chronic suffers. You can read more about my personal story.

On this site you can find out about the route I’m taking, the equipment I’ll be using, and read my latest blog entries as I prepare to take on the challenge! During the ride, I’ll keep the blog updated thanks to Acer and hostwithmartin, and you’ll be able to chart my progress on a map.

I’m aiming to complete the ride in 16 days, although my target is two weeks. I would like to thank all the individuals and organisations who’ve sponsored and supported me so far! Click here to join them.

Thanks for visiting,

Luke
